Most Brutal And Horrific Form Of Execution In The Acient History. - Education

Consider yourself lucky if you are reading this, you most likely not to have lived in a society with extreme judgements, sentences, and punishments. Back in the good old days if you did something wrong, for example stole a goat, chicken, Adultery, you were pretty much assured being handed a death sentence. In those days there was no hanging around on Death Row, contemplating the errors of your ways whilst waiting for some form of humane, painless death. Executions in the ancient history seems to be so barbaric and devices used were built with careful engineering to push the guilty to feel extreme and prolonged pain before death. The forms of execution listed below really are so barbaric that you might question your faith in human nature. Blowing from the gun. With the invention of the cannon came this wonderfully imaginative way of executing enemy combatants. The basic method was to tie the unfortunate victim to the barrel of a cannon and fire it. Horrific as this sounds I imagine it w...

In 2018, a taxi driver named Prabhu Bhatara halted his  vehicle during a trip and walked up to a sloth bear to take a selfie with the animal. Sadly, he slipped and the bear started to act aggressively towards him.

This video captures the bear and man grappling just before the situation turned fatal.

Forestry officials were summoned, but by the time they arrived, Bhatara was already deceased. The bear had to be tranquilized so that Bhatara's mangled body could be recovered.

The incident took place in the Nabarangpur district of Odisha in India. Bhatara had stopped to relieve himself on his way home from a wedding when he spotted the injured animal.

Despite warnings from his fellow SUV passengers, Bhatara approached the bear. A struggle ensued, and a stray dog even stepped in, biting the bear in an attempt to deter the larger animal. Unfortunately, the dog’s intervention was not enough to save Bhatara

Shameful: Rape- a weapon of Russian Army during World War II

Operation Barbarossa, the Nazi invasion of Russia in 1941, began the most genocidal conflict in history. Perhaps 30 million inhabitants of the Soviet Union are now thought to have died during the war, including more than three million who were deliberately starved in German PoW camps. The Germans, having shown no quarter, could expect none in return. Their casualties were also on a vast scale. In the Battle of Berlin alone more than a million German soldiers were killed or died later in captivity, plus at least 100,000 civilians. The most striking and shameful thing about this invasion is that the Russian army used rape as a weapon against Germans. It is believed that as many as 2 million women were raped by Red army officers, many of them several times over. The rapes had begun as soon as the Red Army entered East Prussia and Silesia in 1944. In many towns and villages every female, aged from 10 to 80, was raped. Soviet soldiers saw rape, often carried out in front of a woman's hus...

Jeffrey Dahmer Killed 17 Young Men And Boys — Then Defiled Their Corpses In Unspeakable Ways

Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 victims in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin between 1978 and 1991, then collected and cannibalized their remains. On the morning of May 27, 1991, Milwaukee police responded to an alarming call. Two women had encountered a naked boy on the street who was disoriented and bleeding. But as the police arrived at the scene, a handsome blond man approached and assured them all was well. But that man was the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey Dahmer’s murders came to an end after his capture by police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 23, 1991. Dahmer calmly told the police officers that the boy was 19 years old and his lover. In reality, Konerak Sinthasomphone was just 14. And he was about to become Dahmer’s latest victim. But the officers believed Jeffrey Dahmer. Although the women tried to object, they were told to “shut the hell up” and “butt out” of this “domestic” dispute. On their way back to the station, the officers joked about ...

Woman in Iran before the Islamic Revolution

The Islamic Revolution of 1979 brought seismic changes to Iran, not least for women. One area that has come under scrutiny is the way women dress and wear their hair - the old Shah, in the 1930s, banned the veil and ordered police to forcibly remove headscarves. But in the early 1980s, the new Islamic authorities imposed a mandatory dress code that required all women to wear the hijab. Here are some images showing what life was like for Iranian women before the institution of clerical rule, and how it has changed since. IMAGE SOURCE,A. ABBAS / MAGNUM PHOTOS Studying at Tehran University in 1977: While many women were already in higher education at the time of the revolution, the subsequent years saw a marked increase in the number attending university. This was in part because the authorities managed to convince conservative families living in rural areas to allow their daughters to study away from home. "They tried to stop women from attending university, but there was such a bac...

General Heinrich Kreipe was kidnapped by British operatives at Archanes, Crete, Greece.

General Heinrich Kreipe was kidnapped by British operatives at Archanes, Crete, Greece. Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller, the German general commanding the 22nd Airlanding Division and assigned as the military governor of Crete, had a reputation for brutality that earned him the nickname “the Butcher of Crete.” The British decided to hatch a plan to get rid of him. However, they wanted to do more than just kill him; they wanted to strike fear into the hearts of the Germans everywhere. Major Patrick Leigh Fermor and Captain William Stanley Moss conceived the plan to kidnap General Müller at the Club de Chasse in Cairo in 1943. Along with two members of the Cretan resistance, George Tirakis and Manoli Paterakis, they planned to infiltrate the island, link up with other members of the resistance, abduct the general, and then get off the island. They intended to do all of this while foregoing bloodshed. They also wanted to make the Germans believe it was a British-only operation to avoid reprisals...

My Husband Ridiculed My Postpartum Figure at a Work Event – His Boss Confronted Him the Following Day

My name is Claire, and I would like to share a poignant chapter from my life, which began with deep personal humiliation but evolved into an unexpected journey of empowerment and new opportunities. This transformation unfolded during and after a corporate event at my husband Tim’s boss’s luxurious residence—an evening that was meant to be filled with merriment but instead became a pivotal turning point in my life due to a thoughtless comment made by my husband. As we arrived at the opulent venue, the grandeur of the setting and the elegant attire of the guests heightened my anxiety. Despite wearing my best dress, I felt painfully self-conscious about my postpartum body, having given birth just three months prior. Tim seemed particularly eager to introduce me to his colleagues and their spouses, perhaps hoping to impress his boss. The atmosphere inside was vibrant, with guests engaging in lively conversations while enjoying fine wine and gourmet delicacies. As I attempted to mingle...

True story of teen girl praised as a 'one woman army' for killing over 100 Nazis with clever technique

Zinaida Portnova, known for having taken the lives of more than 100 Nazis by poisoning their food at just 16 years of age. She was captured by the Gestapo and while being interrogated, she disarmed the Nazi detective and shot him in the head. In her attempt to escape, she executed 2 more Nazis. The teenager managed to execute three Nazis, even after she had been captured Zinaida Portnova's story is one of particular significance, with some nowadays labelling her as a 'one woman army'. Born in Leningrad, Russia, in February 1926 - Portnova had quite the life, even though it was cut pretty short. She was a seventh-grade student at the 385th school in the Russian city in 1941, when she left for her grandmother's house in the Vitebsk region. Nazi Germany invaded the shortly after that, and an incident with Nazi troops led to Portnova despising them. German soldiers hit her grandmother while they were confiscating the cattle, leading to the girl (quite understandably) havin...
